Launched in 2019, the Westport 117 is the builder's newest idea of an entry superyacht: true five-stateroom accommodation, a sundeck jacuzzi and a contemporary European-inspired interior in a package that stays under 300 gross tons - a meaningful threshold for crewing and regulation.
Because the model is young, very few W117s reach the brokerage market; most transactions are new construction slots direct from the yard. That makes broker representation on spec, layout and delivery terms the real value in this segment.
Greg spent seven years as an in-house broker at Westport Yacht Sales in Fort Lauderdale and currently offers W117 new construction through Double G. He has walked these builds from lamination to delivery and knows exactly what to negotiate beyond price.
