The Westport W135 is the evolution of the W130 platform that has defined American superyacht building for over two decades. Hull 4101, the first of the series, is finished and lying in Fort Lauderdale, available now.
“The W135 is the next evolution of the platform that made Westport the most recognized American superyacht builder.”Greg Gaus, seven years in-house at Westport
At 134 feet 6 inches, the raised pilothouse design delivers better forward visibility from the helm, more interior volume on the main deck, and a contemporary exterior profile that marks a new chapter for the Washington-based builder.
She was launched in Washington in January 2026, ran to Florida through the Panama Canal, and made her debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March. Hulls 4102 and 4103 are already sold.
Hull, superstructure and decks are foam-cored composite: E-glass in vinyl ester resin, with carbon fiber in the structural framing, laminated by infusion and hand lay-up and engineered to American Bureau of Shipping rules. She is classed ABS A1 Yachting Service.
The windows are frameless, laminated and chemically strengthened, bonded straight into the structure. Hull and superstructure are Awlgrip Snow White.
The interior accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms, including a full beam owner’s suite on the main deck with his and hers heads.
The main salon has clean contemporary lines, warm wood, designer furniture and full height windows. Formal dining seats ten, and the galley sits behind a powered sliding partition so service happens out of sight.
On the lower deck the two aft staterooms have king berths and walk-in wardrobes. Forward, the port stateroom has a queen, and the starboard room is a workout room with upper and lower Pullman berths. Every guest head is stone, with a frameless glass shower.
The master carries a king berth on a powered lift, two wardrobes, a makeup desk, and his and hers heads port and starboard, each with its own vanity.
A crew of six lives forward and aft: a captain’s cabin with a double berth, four crew berths, a crew mess, and an engineer’s cabin with a private head off the control room.
Twin MTU 16V2000 M97L engines of 2,600 horsepower each give her a 20 knot cruise and 25 knots flat out, by Westport’s own estimate.
They drive five-blade Michigan Wheel propellers through ZF 5050A gears, and are dual certified EPA Tier 3 and IMO III. Two Seakeeper 40 gyros hold her steady at anchor, and Naiad 525 fins take over underway.
She carries about 7,050 US gallons of diesel and 1,300 of fresh water, with two watermakers making up to 3,600 gallons a day. That is the autonomy for Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and beyond.
Power comes from two Northern Lights 80 kW generators. Bow and stern thrusters are electric, and the bridge is the Westport Integrated Bridge System, with MTU controls at four stations.
Running off Fort Lauderdale, then the full beam salon, formal dining, the owner’s suite on the main deck, the pilothouse, aft deck, boat deck spa, flybridge, bow and beach club.
Westport filmed her off Fort Lauderdale and then room by room: salon, dining, galley, the full beam master, the guest staterooms, the pilothouse and the crew mess. About a minute.
