Resonance is the first of Hargrave's 125 E Series, finished and lying in Fort Lauderdale. A new build of this size ordered today is a two to three year wait. She is the same boat, available now.
“I’m trying to give you basically what you get in a 145 footer, at 125 ft.”Hargrave, aboard Resonance, Palm Beach Boat Show 2026
A main deck master with the heads on the same level rather than down a flight of stairs, 7 ft 1 in ceilings, and 342 GT on a 125 ft hull against a band median of 299. The volume of something considerably longer, on a draft of 6 ft 6 in.
The Hargrave 125 is a first hull, which is worth addressing rather than glossing. The E Series is a new line, but not a new programme: Hargrave have been building in Turkey since 2008, and in the current run have launched an 88, a 90, a 116, a 118, a 40 metre and this 125, with a second 125 under construction behind her.
The company has delivered more than 100 yachts over 100 feet. She carries a 10 year structural warranty and a 10 year warranty on main engines and generators.
Her hull and superstructure are a carbon reinforced E-glass epoxy composite sandwich. Hargrave use the carbon deliberately rather than everywhere: the weight is graduated as the structure rises, so the superstructure is lighter than the hull and the centre of gravity stays where it should on a boat carrying this much volume.
The plumbing is cupro-nickel and hard piped throughout. It is the kind of specification nobody sees and every surveyor checks.
Naval architecture is by Jack Sarin. Interior by Hargrave Superyachts. Classed with RINA, flagged in Jamaica.
Headroom was one of the things the yard set out to solve on this series, and the E Series is built to a minimum ceiling height of 7 ft 1 in. It is the first thing most people notice aboard, and the hardest thing to add to a boat later.
10 guests sleep in 5 staterooms, with 9 heads aboard. The master is on the main deck, not below, and the heads sit on the same level as the cabins they serve rather than down a flight of stairs. On a 125 ft boat that layout usually belongs to something longer.
The main deck runs from a full beam salon through to formal dining, with the galley set apart so service happens out of sight, and the skylounge above is a second living space rather than an overflow.
Aft on the main deck there is a spa pool set into the deck, with shaded seating alongside it and sunpads beyond, and a teak swim platform with boarding stairs below.
Crew accommodation is 4 cabins for a crew of 8, with the captain's quarters separate. That is a full professional complement rather than the minimum a boat this size can legally run with, and it is the specification an owner who intends to use her properly will want to see.
Volume and shallow draft normally trade against each other. She has both, and the numbers show how uncommon that is.
Of the 115 to 140 ft motor yachts listed on the YATCO MLS today, 56 carry 300 GT or more. Only 9 of those 56 draw 6 ft 6 in or less. Resonance is one of them, and 3 of the 9 are Hargraves.
The rest of that 300 GT group draws a median of 7 ft 11 in. The 17 inches she saves are what open the Exumas and the Abacos to her.
She is quick for the volume too: 15 kn cruise against a band median of 12, and 18 kn maximum, from twin Caterpillar C32s at 1,900 hp each. Naiad 525 at-rest stabilisers, bow and stern thrusters, 8,000 US gal of fuel.
In this film Hargrave tells the story himself, on camera, standing aboard her: what the E Series was meant to do differently and what had to change in the boat to do it.

It is also where the line about giving you a 145 footer at 125 ft comes from, and where the headroom, the weight distribution and the main deck master get explained by the people who decided them. Two and a half minutes, and worth it.
